About This Trip
The Langtang Valley Trek is one of Nepal’s most beautiful yet less crowded Himalayan adventures. Located just north of Kathmandu near the Tibetan border, this trek offers spectacular mountain landscapes, rich Tamang culture, and stunning alpine scenery.
Often called the “Valley of Glaciers,” the Langtang region is surrounded by towering snow peaks including Langtang Lirung (7,227 m). The trail passes through lush forests, peaceful mountain villages, yak pastures, and ancient Buddhist monasteries.
The highlight of the journey is reaching Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m), a breathtaking Himalayan settlement surrounded by glaciers and dramatic peaks. From here, trekkers can enjoy panoramic mountain views and explore the pristine landscapes of Langtang National Park.
